@linkskywalker, @PresGas It seems to work better with some Mastodon instances than others. For example I don't seem to run into threading issues with mastodon.social users, but have with several other instances. I think there's something about the micro.blog AcitvityPub implementation that works better with some instances than others (maybe having to do with the software version? not sure). I also wonder if mutual following relationships (or lack thereof) are connected.
